Members of the local business community, along with Councilors Michael Maguire and Neil Kelly, gathered at the Antrim Road restaurant to have breakfast and hear the owners of Knags talk about their plans for the business and of what they can offer in terms of catering and conference.

Those present also had the opportunity to individually present their companies to the rest of the group.

Speaking after the event, Denise Shields, Practice Manager at Armstrong Solicitors at Glengormley, said: “It was definitely worth meeting like-minded business people and having the opportunity to speak. of our own business.

The Mallusk Enterprise Park sales team hopes to make “Business over Breakfast” events a local event, taking place approximately every six weeks in the Newtownabbey area.

Karen Wilson, Business Support Manager at MEP, invited local business owners to contact us if they would like to host a similar event.

“We take care of the recruiting side, which is a big help for small businesses, which don’t always have the time or the contacts to organize a business breakfast,” she explains. “The next ‘Business over Breakfast’ (#bob) event will take place in September and if you would like to be informed, please send an email to [email protected] to join the mailing list.

The MEP sales team thanked Kevin McCourt, owner of Knags, and his team for their warm hospitality and excellent service at the networking event.
