FORNEY, Texas – The Forney Downtown Business Association has chosen Guest and Gray Law Firm as Member of the Month.

Guest and Gray Law Firm was formed in 2011 when Robert Guest and Scott Gray and Tracy Gray (now Judge Gray) merged their law firms. Their iconic downtown location at 112 S. Bois D’arc is a familiar site to anyone stuck waiting on a train at the Bois D’arc crossing.

Since then, Guest and Gray has grown into the largest law firm in Kaufman County with 7 attorneys who practice criminal defense, family law, personal injury, probate, election law, and immigration. Tracy Gray left the firm in 2019 when she was appointed a Kaufman County Court Judge.

“We love how downtown Forney has created new businesses over the past few years. Our business has been fortunate to grow with the city. I grew up at Forney School and am proud to see what has become of downtown Forney. We do most of our breakfast meetings at Mama’s Diner, and you can also find our employees at Eno’s, Latham’s or Crumbz, ”said Scott Gray, partner.

The firm has expanded into new areas over the past year, adding annexation litigation and electoral law as areas of practice. Led by Tracy Gray, Guest and Gray defeated the annexation efforts of the town of Mesquite in Kaufman County in 2018. Recently, Guest and Gray won electoral law cases in the Dallas Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Texas.

“We have expanded into new areas of practice to better meet the needs of the community. Residents of Forney and Kaufman counties do not have to travel to Dallas for first class legal services. We have a local legal team with small town values and personalized customer service that can also provide high profile litigation in many different practice areas. We love Forney and I am proud to live and work in a forward looking city supporting local businesses, ”said partner Robert Guest.

Guest and Gray offers free consultations and has lawyers and staff who speak Spanish. They take cases all over the state of Texas, the majority of cases in Kaufman, Rockwall, Dallas and Collin County.
