A new sales department hopes to generate economic growth for Sydney businesses.
The Sidney Business Improvement Area Society (Sidney BIA) has partnered with Sidney Courier to help businesses cut costs by offering free commercial delivery.
The service in effect since October 26 allows companies to book Sidney Courier through an online portal or by phone on terms that provide that the company covers the costs of delivery in two working days up to a radius of 35 kilometers for them. members of society only. The costs are deducted at the time of the delivery request.
Morgan Shaw, executive director of the Sidney BIA Society, said the service will help local businesses deal with limitations due to COVID-19.
“The Sidney BIA is committed to providing support in any way possible, and we hope this collaboration will encourage residents to continue doing business locally,” she said, having earlier said that local support from Sydney’s business community over the past eight months has been “extremely” encouraging.
Shawn Magnus, who launched Sidney Courier in March this year, said he expects to be busy, with plans to expand the service.
The system guarantees delivery within two working days from the moment the customer places his order with the service handling commercial deliveries from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
