Tunisia: INVESTMED launches a training program in sustainable business management

The INVESTMED project launches in September 2021 its training program on sustainable business management aimed at having a positive impact on startups and MSMEs in the green, blue and creative and cultural industries in three Arab countries namely Tunisia, the ‘Egypt and Lebanon.

INVESTMED is a co-funded project under the ENI CBC MED program which aims to address economic and environmental challenges by supporting new sustainable business opportunities for youth and women in these three countries.

The trainings for Egypt, Lebanon and Tunisia will be organized separately with specific dates for each country. Each will have a total of 15 participants.

Applications are open to young graduates (24-35 years old), potential entrepreneurs, startups and MSME staff from the green, blue and creative and cultural industries as well as people with digital ideas in these three sectors. Women of all ages are especially encouraged to apply.

The deadline for applications is July 21, 2021.

The objective of the training is to create an environment conducive to sustainable businesses in the three target countries in order to increase the share of cross-border MSMEs / startups led by young people and women.

The training is provided by a highly qualified faculty. The learning process has a practical orientation and takes the form of structured courses supported by practical applications through business case studies. The training will be complemented by online courses, interactive online labs and tutoring. The program lasts 12 months.

After the training, some candidates will attend a summer school in Sardinia to take business ideas from the exploration phase to more structured initiatives.
